Do online lessons really work? Absolutely. In fact, ServiceYourSwing.com lessons work far better than generic tips or instruction for three important reasons:
First, Jacque will give you a clear, concise analysis of your swing using the amazing Dartfish software. The same software used by the Titleist Performance Institute, PGA of America, and St. Andrews Golf Academy! She will also give you personalized swing drill videos to help you overcome the swing faults that she identifies. She then creates a custom practice plan for you to follow to help you reach your goals.
Second, being able to view your swing is the fastest way to understand what your are doing wrong. You can then fast track your way to a better swing.
Third, ServiceYourSwing.com lessons work better than personalized lessons because you can review your lessons again and again, whenever you want. Each student gets their own Lesson Locker which will hold both their swing analysis and drill videos.
Jacque feels that ServiceYourSwing.com is the best thing in golf since the invention of Hybrid clubs, and it will change the way students learn around the world! Guaranteed!
What is a MediaBook? A MediaBook is state of the art Dartfish software that gives Jacque a vehicle to package your analysis for viewing with frame by frame pictures, written comments, audio comments, lines and angles, side by side comparisons, slo-mo capibility, and printing options.
Will my lesson be in an e-mail? No. You will receive an e-mail notification with the link to your Lesson Locker, but you always view your lessons at the ServiceYourSwing. com website, unless you choose to purchase your lesson on CD.
How long will it take to receive my lesson? Lessons are delivered in approximately 72 hours. In order to ensure personalized attention and high quality, lessons may occasionally take slightly longer if Jacque has prior commitments.
Why would I want to video my swing instead of taking a lesson? You can learn a lot about your swing just by seeing it. The large number of professional golfers regularly film and view their swings as a part of their practice and training routine. It is often easier to 'see' what we are doing wrong instead of trying to 'feel' the swing faults we have. Plus you can track your progress with each consecutive lesson.
How long will my lessons stay on the website? All your swing MediaBooks – and all your drill MediaBooks – will be available for viewing on ServiceYourSwing.com for 2 months after your last lesson. If you take one lesson every 2 months, your page will always be available with all prior MediaBooks and comments. So don't let your Locker expire! Your Lesson Locker will have an expiration date on it as a reminder.
How many times can I view my lesson? You can view all your lessons as often as you like as long as your Locker hasn't expired. This gives you a fun and informative way to look back on your old game and track your improvement over the weeks, months and years. It also lets you review any past lesson if old bad habits should creep back into your game.
Will each lesson be different than a prior one? Definitely. As you begin to improve your swing, each subsequent lesson will address new issues and will incrementally refine and improve your swing. Also, as Jacque reviews your swing, she can also view and compare your past and current swings side by side. This comparison can be viewed in a MediaBook which you will be able to view in your Locker. Having this capability to compare current and previous swings will really tell the story of your improvement. If drills are repeated, it is because you need continued work on that particular aspect of your swing. Under 'Jacque's Comments & Suggestions', she will also comment on how well you are (or are not) incorporating previous instruction and will specify what areas from past lessons need more work.
Can you help me with other parts of my game, like chipping or putting? I currently only analyze the full swing. But other parts will be coming soon.
What can I do if I'm dissatisfied with my lesson? If you are unhappy with your lesson for any reason, just let me know. I will prepare a new lesson at no charge or refund the cost of your lesson. Your satisfaction is my primary goal.
Are ServiceYourSwing.com lessons just recorded videos? No. While I do employ pre-recorded video clips created and proven to correct virtually every possible swing fault, each lesson is custom made for YOUR unique and individual swing.
Does ServiceYourSwing.com work for golfers of ANY level? Indeed it does. Because my lessons are tailored to the individual golfer’s swing, it works for golfers of all levels, from beginners to scratch golfers.
What if I don't have a digital camera? You will need a digital to be able to download the video files to your computer. Chances are a golfing buddy or family member will have one. Just have them download the file to your computer or send it to you by e-mail to forward on to ServiceYourSwing.com
What kind of camera should I use to film my swing with? Many golfers think they need an actual 'video' camera to film their swings. In fact, almost any make or model digital camera – the same camera you use to take pictures of your family – will take the kind of video clips required for your lesson. Just select video mode on your camera.
If you’re uncertain how to take videos, just refer to the instructions provided with your camera. Because all cameras are slightly different, you will also want to refer to your camera manual for instructions on how to transfer your video files to your computer for e-mailing to ServiceYourSwing.com.
Can I film my swing with a camcorder instead of a digital camera? Yes and No. You can use the new mini camcorders such as RCA Small Wonder or a Flip mini camcorder. These models have a USB port which allows for easy download. You can e-mail these files.
Can I film my swing myself? Technically you could - the file size would be much too big because of the video portion in the beginning and end that are not needed. You could then use video editing software such as Windows Movie Maker to clip the the portions you don't want. Try to keep the video no longer than 5 seconds - preferably 3 seconds. It is recommended to have someone else film your swing though. If the person filming you is a golfer, maybe you should suggest they film their swing and get an analysis through ServiceYourSwing.com!
What happens if I buy a lesson and I don't film my videos right? If there is any problem with your swing videos, I will provide you will a explanation on how to re-film your videos and you can resend them again – at no additional cost, of course.
The most common problems include the camera being too close or too far away from the golfer or improper camera placement relative to the golfer. Be sure to follow the instructions on the 'How to Film Your Video' page and the 'Filming Basics' page You shouldn't have any problems after that.
How do I get my videos from my camera to my computer? You transfer video files to your computer the exact same way you would transfer pictures. With some cameras you will connect the camera to your computer using a USB cable. With other cameras or computers, you may remove the memory card from your camera and insert or connect it to your computer.
Because of the large number of camera brands and models, please refer to your camera’s instruction manual. Once the video files are on your computer, just e-mail them to lessons@serviceyourswing.com
Can my lessons be saved to my computer? Technically, no. Your swing and drill MediaBooks are stored at ServiceYourSwing.com in your Lesson Locker and are played from the website whenever you want to view them. This gives you the ability to view your MediaBooks from any computer anywhere in the world where there is Internet access. However, you can also purchase your swing & drill MediaBooks on CD if you prefer.
Do I need a highspeed Internet connection? Yes & No. ServiceYourSwing.com does not requires a high-speed connection to view your MediaBooks, however it will take longer for the MediaBooks to load. A high-speed connection is recommended. Remember, you can also purchase your swing & drill MediaBooks on CD for your computer if you have a dial up connection.
Does Jacque Servadio personally analyze my swing? Jacque personally analyzes and prepares every lesson. This ensures consistent quality from lesson to lesson and maximizes your improvement to help you improve as rapidly as possible.
Why are Internet lessons so pricey? Actually, a personalized ServiceYourSwing.com lesson costs less than a single round of golf.
